Monte Rio is a small town nestled amongst ancient redwoods about one and a half hours north of San Francisco. When we lived in Petaluma, we used to spend many a hot summer days swimming in the cold river water or hiking the Armstrong Redwoods. It’s a lovely place to spend a weekend!

The wedding will take place at Rio Villa Inn, 20292 Hwy 116, Monte Rio, California, 95462 (map & directions) beginning at 3pm on Saturday. The entire event will be held outdoors, along the river, so plan for cooler weather as the sun goes down and pack layers. Cell phone reception in the area is poor, so make sure you have questions answered and good directions before departing.
